From work I meet up with Brad, when from his work up into Ashton Court. Up hill along the nature trail until we reached the top, where I had to wait for him. We continued along the trail to the start of the quarry where a purpose built trail has been built. This runs right along the side of the quarry, it's single track fairly quick with a slight decent and some various hazzords along the way. At the end of the trail we headed back up to join the rest of the trail that runs along the side of the mail road. Again this is a quite fast part of the trail and runs for about 1.5 miles with quite a lot of switchbacks along the way. At the end I waited for Brad again then went down hill (quite steep) through thw wood by the big house. I have never ridden this part of the trail the same way, so each time is a new experiance. Then straight back to the car and home. The ride was good covering about 10 miles, 5 of which would have been off road. Short ride but well worth doing.
